MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
To qualify at the GS-09 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-07 in Federal service OR a Master's or equivalent graduate degree OR two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree OR LL.B. OR J.D., if related OR a combination of post high school education and experience that together meet the qualification requirements for this position. To qualify at the GS-11 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 in Federal service OR Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree OR LL.M., if related OR a combination of post high school education and experience that together meet the qualification requirements for this position. DEFINITION OF SPECIALIZED
Experience:
To meet specialized experience, your resume must describe experience that demonstrates the following:
GS-9 - Experience in at least two of the following:
gathering background information to support projects, presentations, or data analysis; evaluating data; providing qualitative and quantitative analysis of the data; author briefing papers, written reports, and other communications; making recommendations regarding inefficient operations; or Strategic Planning. GS-11 - Experience in at least two of the following:
evaluating data and providing qualitative and quantitative analysis of the data; author briefing papers, written reports, and other communications; making recommendations regarding inefficient operations; or Strategic Planning. In order to be rated as qualified for this position, the HR Office must be able to determine that the applicant meets the qualification requirement above - this information must be clearly supported in the resume. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
